  3. the son of Arjuna and Subhadra, the husband of the Matsya kingdom’s princess Uttarā, and the father of Parīkşita (born after his death) who fought valiantly and was killed in the Kurukshetra war (M. Bh.) (see Abhimanyu (Mahabharata)), a son of the Manu Cakşuşa and Nadvalā (Rāj. Tr.).
