Kāyaśuddhi

Kāyaśuddhi literally means ‘purification of the body’.

Purification of the body is a primary requisite in all the sādhanas or spiritual practices. The most common method of achieving it is through snāna or bathing. Several types of snānas are described in the holy books of the religion.
